Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
While deep in color, this full-bodied Syrah shows fresh characteristics. Aromas of blackberry, plum, game meat, bittersweet chocolate and black pepper. The complexity continues with a palate of plum, blackberry, molasses, licorice, baking spices that finishes with juicy tannins. With beautiful structure and acidity, this Syrah is a beautiful expression of the unique terroir of Alamo Creek Ranch.
Happy, uplifting, refreshing, beautiful, young.
Vineyard Notes
Grown in San Luis Obispo County along California’s Central Coast, our grapes continue to create our world class wines. Proximity to the ocean, orientation of the numerous canyons, and varying elevations produce diverse microclimates, allowing production of both cool and warm weather loving wine-grape varieties.

Winemaker Notes
These Syrah grapes were hand harvested, hand sorted, and destemmed upon arriving to the winery. After a 48-hour cold soak, the grapes were fermented using native yeast for two weeks. Caps were punched down by hand twice a day. After being pressed delicately, the wine was aged in neutral French barrels for 8 months to capture a fresh expression of Syrah.
