About Us… The Wine…

Our Begining

La Lieff Wines are made from grapes grown at Alamo Creek Ranch, in a small, pristine valley nestled against the rugged terrain of the Los Padres National Forest in Southern San Luis Obispo County. The Ranch has been in the Lieff family for the past 15 years, growing premium wine grapes. The ranch has the perfect microclimate for Rhone varieties, including Grenache, Syrah, and Viognier. It also offers excellent terroir for Sauvignon Blanc.

The vineyard is managed by Jonas Perez, who has lived in Alamo Creek Ranch for more than 13 years with his wife and their three children. He does an incredible job caring for the land and keeping everything in order in the vineyard!
